In 1983, the Clemons family expanded their operation with the purchase of the Chrysler, Plymouth, and Dodge franchises. In 1990 the store expanded even more with the purchase of the Pontiac, Oldsmobile & GMC franchises. Once again in 1993, the Jeep franchise was acquired.

In 1991, the dealership's name was changed from Pat Clemons Chevrolet-Buick to Pat Clemons Inc. because of the variety of franchises. In 1997 we expanded again; in February adding Clemons Inc. of Fairfield in Fairfield, IA (Toyota, Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Chrysler, Dodge & Jeep) and in October, adding Clemons Inc. in Marshalltown, IA (Chevrolet, Pontiac & Cadillac). In 2003 we expanded yet again to include Clemons Inc. of Newton in Newton, IA (Chrysler, Dodge & Jeep). And finally, the most recent (Sept. 2005) Clemons Inc. of Ottumwa, IA (Ford, Lincoln, Mercury).

Along with automobile sales we offer mechanical service, collision repair, automotive parts, and automotive detail cleaning services.
